Celebrate UCI 2013

Every weekend, we try to think of something fun to do outside of the house. Being so consumed with work and daily life routines during the week, we feel it's important to spend a family fun day or two out and about.

This week we chose Celebrate UCI/Wayzgoose. What a great idea! We thought it'd be a good way to get out and revisit our old stomping grounds and show Olivia where it all started! It was an absolutely perfect day. The sun was out and the clouds were clear. We forget what a beautiful campus UCI is and how many great memories we have there. We feel fortunate to live close enough and visit whenever nostalgia strikes.

So many things have changed there -new buildings, new facilities, new vegetation! But the core feeling hasn't changed. It's such a warm and welcoming campus. Big enough to not feel claustrophobic, yet small enough to have a real sense of community. We wouldn't be very disappointed if Olivia decided to attend our alma matar!

Overall, I would say it was a successful Saturday family outing!
