Sweet Love

Happy Valentines Day!

This day always holds a special place in our hearts. Twelve years ago today, we celebrated our first Valentine's day together so we always say this is our dating anniversary.  We've come a long way since the days at UCI. Who knew then that we'd get married, buy a house and have a baby together?? Needless to say, with all the time that has passed, we're still mushy gushy in love. We've both made a promise to never forget the simple things that make us work. A hug after work, a thank you for simple efforts, holding hands...it's easy to forget to these simple things with a newborn, but I think we're doing a great job so far!

Today, we went to a movie (with the baby! how cool is that? Check out UltraLuxe Baby Night) and had some Chickfil-A (I know, totally not glamorous, but it was the only thing open without a line at the drive through)! It sure wasn't the fine dining and Disneyland outing we had last year, but it's just as fun with my best friend and husband! Wishing you all a loving day. Daddy says this is just one of many dates you'll be going on with him.  Talk about setting the bar high ;)
