While I was pregnant, we knew that life would never be the same once the baby got here, but we never knew our lives would change.
Sleep has lessened, alone time has diminished, showering has slowed (still exists, just slow), homemade dinners have also lessened. Tears have increased, dirty diapers are piling high, restlessness is ever present and anxiety is heightened.
Through all these changes, we wouldn't have it any other way because of all things, love has rushed into this house like a flood. Having Olivia in our lives has put everything in perspective. All things are irrelevant every time we look at her. Every phone call, e-mail, dirty dish, laundry, dusty ledge just seems so miniscule compared to the life and love we've brought into our home. She's changed our life for the better and we couldn't be more pleased. We feel so lucky to have her in our life and are still in awe that we created this little human.
